Sit comfortably cross legged or in lotus position.

Chakras are energy vortexes contained within the etheric body. The spin is reversed in Women, so the base chakra for men is clockwise and anticlockwise for women. The spin of a chakra also then reverses when the kundalini energy moves to the next chakra.

1. Visualize the Muladhara Chakra at the base of the spine as a spinning vortex of red energy. Visualize the chakra as a flower, or gear with 4 red petals rotating clockwise for a man and anti-clockwise for a woman. Breathe in and chant the mantra LAM (silently if preferred)until one feels the kundalini energy unfolding at the base of the spine. Keep chanting and visualizing until the vision is stable and one can feel the chakra rotating. If one has an assistant this can be checked and aided with the use of a crystal pendulum. The Muladhara Chakra is also called the base or root chakra it is the source of bodies energy. Imagine that in the centre of the flower is a Yellow Square.

Imagine the kundalini energy slowly rising vertebra by vertebra until the next chakra is reached. The rotation of this chakra is opposite to the previous & the interconnect like gears allowing subtle energies to be moved up the shushumna (spine).

2. Visualize the next chakra; the Svadhistana Chakra. Positioned just aove the Genitals.Visualize the chakra as a 6 petaled orange flower rotating anti-clockwise for a man and clockwise for a woman with a White Crescent at the centre. Breathe in and Chant silently the mantra VAM. Keep chanting and visualizing until the vision is stable and one can feel the chakra rotating.

Imagine the kundalini energy slowly rising until the next chakra is reached. The rotation spin changes again, matching the spin of the Muladhara Chakra.

3. Visualize the next chakra, the Manipura Chakra; as a vortex of yellow energy, a flower of ten petals. Breathe in and Chant silently the mantra RAM. Visualize the chakra rotating clockwise for a man and anti-clockwise for a woman.

Imagine the kundalini energy slowly rising until the next chakra is reached. The rotation spin changes again, now matching the spin of the Svadhistana Chakra.

4. Visualize the next chakra as a vortex of green energy, a flower of twelve petals; the Anahata Chakra, the heart chakra. Breathe in and chant silently the mantra YAM. Visualize the chakra rotating anti-clockwise for a man and clockwise for a woman. Picture the Heart chakra and Svadhistana Chakra spinning the same direction.

Imagine the kundalini energy rising again. The rotation of spin changes again, now matching the spin of the Manipura Chakra.

5. Visualize the next chakra; the Visuddha Chakra, the throat chakra. A blue vortex of energy with 16 petals. Breathe in and chant silently the mantra HAM. Visualize the chakra rotating clockwise for a man and anti-clockwise for a woman.

Imagine the kundalini energy rising again. The rotation of spin changes again, now matching the spin of the Heart Chakra. Note the Spin of the Heart Chakra is the same as the Third eye and the Svadhistana Chakra.

6. Visualise the next chakra as a vortex of indigo energy with two petals; the Ajna Chakra, the third eye. Breathe in and chant silently the mantra OM. Visualize the chakra rotating anti- clockwise for a man and clockwise for a woman.

Imagine the kundalini energy rising again…

7. Visualise the next chakra as a vortex of violet energy; the Sahasrara Chakra the 1000 petaled white lotus raining down the dew of immortality. Creating an egg like torus of bright white light that rains down enveloping and bathing the body in healing and empowering energy.

The Mantra for this chakra is silent. Chant the phrase silently in you mind> Spontaneously Present Timeless Awareness < 4 times or more; gradually getting quieter each time – dissolving into silence. Allow the mind to empty and become silent. Enjoy the silence & listen to that inner silent voice when it shares its wisdom & other times, just relax into the deep emptiness.

One can then start the process again so as to fill the time allotted for meditation. Awareness of time will become very apparent whilst meditating. Awareness of time past, the current time and the time left and the doubt about these; past present and future time. Beyond these three is spontaneously present timeless awareness ; neither past nor present nor future, but that which glues them altogether, that which is beyond time. Time is a shadow of a higher dimension, a dimension of awareness – spontaneously present timeless awareness.
